browser compatible problem.
i have create 2 css file, one is template.css and another is template_ie7.css

if template.css setting #modules5{ margin:0; }, firefox and chrome look good.
but ie is running.
template_ie7.css set #modules5{ margin:0 -10px; }

if template.css set #modules5{ margin:0 -10px; } , firefox and chrome layout running.
but ie is looking good.
template_ie7.css also set #modules5{ margin:0 -10px; }

Actually the best setting for firefox, chrome and ie is
firefox chrome #modules5{ margin:0; }
ie #modules5{ margin:0 -10px; }

but look like my template_ie7.css can't detect it. template_ie7.css is working. just the css above can't detect.
How to solve this?

Make sure the link tot he IE& stylesheet is right. If you think it is right, put the whole thing on a temporary place somewhere on the web, and provide a link here.

There's no 'pretty sure' in this :-D check if it is right or not.

In your browser for example, fire up the browser development tools.

echo out <?php echo base_path() . path_to_theme(); ?> and see what it returns

I mean in Chrome, hit F12, and just click the css link and see if it correct. Either the CSS file displays, or it doesn't.
