I am wanting to import "announcements" into a text box gotten from a dropbox public link. I can link to that text file but what I am wanting is to have that text copied and then pasted into a text box in dreamweaver. I am doing this so that a client can upload announcements whenever he wants without me having to be involved.
Thanks for any input.

I am using Dreamweaver 5

that can be done using the value of a $_post array, but what do you want to do with it ?store it?

I am wanting a client to be able to add text to a .txt file in his dropbox. I would like to access that .txt file and load the text into a text field in dreamweaver

here is the site

not possible . usual way would be to use a database , but to create an external file in a dropbox , can see the use of that even if it was possible, you could create a file on you site using php's fwrite function bt i cant see the useful logic in it

why not, the client emails you the text file and you put it on a DW field... ;)

That's brains!
