Hello, I'm having to use the tab key to use the forms I create in Dreavweaver CS4. How can I stop this? Right now, you have to use the tab key to navigate the forms fields, you can't simply click in the field. How can I stop this? No special code, simply the dreamweaver form. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Well I've never seen that before  Even looking through your code doesn't give me much of a clue. I'd imagine it is something in the Spry validation but I have no idea what. Sorry.

Turn javascript off in the browser? Can java be turned off in the dreamweaver aspx page if the java is needed for the page?

Nope, you may have to find another method for form validation. Check out some JQuery options instead.

Here is a another form I created in Dreamweaver that works correctly. What's the difference in this form that works and the form that doesn't?

This doesn't make sense, but I added an "* " (asterisk and space) before each form field. Now I can click in each field. Without the asterisk and space you can't click in each field and the curser pops to the first field every time and the tab key only works. Can this be explained? It's in your Spry Javascript (Not Java..).

If you're not comfortable with Spry, I would not use it. I don't think anyone here use it (anyone?).

Thanks for all the info.

In order to have a forced phone number pattern used I use the Spry Validation in Dreamweaver. Is there another option within Dreamweaver or some basic code I can use instead? I do some basic code but I use Dreamweaver for most of it, if I need to find a code chart I'll give it a try. Any good code charts to use on a form for forced phone number patterns?
