Hello, I hope someone can help, I am a student who is working on an online project for my degree, I designed a website using Photoshop and Dreamweaver and need some help, when the page is loaded using the dreamweaver preview the css code does not load although the page looks fine in the dreamweaver design window. When it appears online it shows some but not all of the css elements, does anyone know if there is a problem with my css code:

Your URL link isn't working. Post your html so we can see it.

Aside, you have one closing bracket too many at the bottom of your CSS code.

Move your css link to just below your title tag. Look where it is, it's outside of the closing head tag. It needs to be inside always.

Ok I've done this and it doesn't solve the problem. All images not matter what there format don't show, they appear in the design window. Online and in preview all the text shows and none of the CSS background images show, would it be better for me to create the css and then insert the images?

first /public_html/the1in5/Images/header.gif is not correct
try
he1in5/Images/header.gif. also going direct to the image gives a 500 warning.
check your server, and Image folder

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

also just spotted that you are using a sub domain, some hosters block images by default in sub domains check if hotlinking is applied iand blocking the images
