Hi Everyone im just wondering if anyone can help me, im trying to create a loan calculator form for a finance website and am unsure weather I can do this in dreamweaver or how, if anyone can recommend any tutorials or even the code for this I would greatly appreciate it

yes because dreamweaver is a code editor. you will need serverside tech such as php or asp i would suggest

if you are going to work with financial data and you want to convert the javascript number to fixed, there is a .toFixed() method available in javascript/ecmasript-262 5.1.

edbr is right about one aspect of web design: some browsers have javascript turned off! so processing the form on the server side would be best. Perl has a LOT of modules available for it. I suggest bignum. you can get it using ppm, the perl package manager. you can request it from your hosting probably. other people would probably love to have it.

perl would probably be a CGI is my guess, and would go in cgi-bin. I suggest you do local testing and development using xampp and Active State Perl.
