Hi. I have 3 dreamweaver pages that will be redirected to a new dreamweaver page. Searched web but couldn't find help on this - or one I understood. The host - 1and1 - doesn't allow editing of the htaccess file stored in their log file folder. To hold SEO I'd like to redirect the old pages. 1and1 package supports php and html. My pages are html. I found this 301 script but wasn't sure if it would work or where it should be placed - Redirect 301 /oldpage.html http://www.yoursite.com/newpage.html - Does this go into the old page or does it reside in the root folder? Really not sure. My background is in graphics so this is really out of my league. Thanks in advance for your time on this. Scott

some hosting companies have in their control panel a place called "redirects". look for this and enjoy.

This usually goes into the .htaccess file.

Look for some thing in the control panel like jmichae3 suggested.
