Hello,

I'm coming from a program called WYSIWYG Web Builder. It's a very easy to use app to develop web site, but it's very limited as well.

I've downloaded the 30-day trial of DreamWeaver and after some days getting used to it, i'm starting to develop a real site.

I'd like to know about a feature that my old program had and i don't know if DW has.

In WYSIWYG, you could create a 'Master' page, for example, the header of your web site. So you just paste this header in another pages and when you edit the header, all child pages that contains the header will be affected also.

I did not find a similiar feature in DW. What i found is the Snippets session, where i can put the header code. BUT when i edit the snippet, the child pages that have the snippet code is NOT edited as well.

Is there a way to do it ?

Thanks in advance !

Check out Dreamweaver's templating system. That does what you want.
