i have been asked to look at a friends website to try and improve its seo. I dont have any access to the site at the moment so cant check using google analitics so i used prchecker.info and it recieved a score of 1/10. Obviously this is as bad as it gets. Is the site ive used to check the rank accurate? the reason i ask is because she has been paying a company 35 p/m for the past year to keep her ranking high.

Any advice will be greatly appriciated.

You don't need access to their site to get into their Google Analytics account.

Ask for access to their Google Analytics.

Then ask to have them send you the reports the SEO company sent them.

You will not be able to make up an opinion if they did a good job or not if you don't:

a) know what they've done
b) understand the current performance of the web site.

For every SEO Contract I always open Marketing grader and its a very good tool and help me to analyze META DATA, Social media stuff and a lot more. Just used woorank a couple of weeks ago and found it very helpful as well. :D
