Hi

When I set up a link on a page that is repeated throughout the website, I don't want to have to keep re-linking every time I start a new page. Is there some sort of action in Dreamweaver, that makes a link do the same thing on every page it appears on?

Thanks in advance for any not too technical advice/instructions...:-D

You could use a Dreamweaver template to build the pages or put the link in an include file. Do a search for those two items.

hi thanks for reply

Have looked up 'library' files, but I get a message that comes up with 'this item may not appear the same as there is no css file copied with it.'

I know what that means but not how to identify which bit of css code is the relevant bit to what i want, or how to copy it. have tried to copy the whole css code into library but it won't do it?

You should have the css for your pages in an external CSS file which is linked to the pages.
