View Full Version : Will Dreamweaver CS5.5 Allow For Editable User Forms

Hi all - first post here.

I'm looking to build my own crowdfunding website (similar to http://www.indiegogo.com or http://www.kickstarter.com). I need to learn Dreamweaver and am ready to buy the newest version. Does anyone foresee any issues or things I should be aware of when building a crowdfunding site with Dreamweaver?

The part of the site that worries me most is when my site visitors will be building their own campaigns. I will need to provide them with a form that posts their campaign under their chosen categories (similar to this page - http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/new). It may make sense to post the campaign in multiple categories, and I want to make sure I can support this.

This is going to be my first shot at creating a legit website. I'm in online marketing, so I know how to get the site listed in the search engines and know some basic html, but do not have any programming or engineering experience.

Any help, guidance and insight is appreciated!

If you're looking to learn Dreamweaver because you want to build a crowd funding website, I suspect you're going to be in way over your head. You should probably contact a developer.

dreamweaver is not the answer as such, it can be done with a word editor basically but you need to know how, Dreamweaver wont roll a site out whit as much backgroud technology that will be needed. learn or hire i'm afraid
