Hello,

I'm having a problem with a large gap between the end of a div and some text that should be up tight underneath it. How can I tighten it up?

Could do to see the actual page really mate.

Its either padding / margin on either the div or the paragraph.

Use Firebug like I said before and it will show you which element is causing the space. Its very easy to use.

The page is here: http://bit.ly/zCcDGK

This is my 1st use of Firebug - it points to the code of the webcam (the div), with some elements I can't change because I don't own the cam which is hosted on a 3rd party server.

Does that mean there's nothing I can do?

You can change the height of the iframe which holds the cam aren't you? If you change height="375" to height="340" then you're pretty good with your spacing.

Yeah, I did try changing the size of the cam iframe, but then it wanted to scroll. If I turned scrolling off, then it looked better, but the date/time info went away.

why are you using an iframe?
Because that's what the person who provided the code gave me.

and because when I tried taking the iframe tags out, I couldn't get it to work.

I changed the height with Firebug (web developer tool in firefox) to 340 and it was ok. No overlapping or cut-off, but I have no idea how it looks in the other browsers cause I didn't test it in those.

Ah! Doh! Yes, I did try changing the height - but what I didn't do, was I didn't play around with it. Your suggestion works perfectly, gentleone! Muchas gracias!
