Hi all,

I am new to php and mysql and dreamweaver. I've gone through most of the tutorials to get a general knowledge and so far things seem to be working out real well.

I am currently building a website for a local game that uses comment pages based on what groups the users belong to.

example

page a, page b, page c, page d, page e

user 1 -- access to a, b, d
user 2 -- access to a, c, d
user 3 -- access to b, c, e

i'd like to have the links show in the left panel, but only the ones that they can have access to.

Thanks all.

Are you using dreamweavers wizard to create the code? PHP?

haven't figured out whichever is the best way to do it.

the site is primarily coded with PHP, as it is very database driven.

When the site loads, first page is a login page, from there, based on the user id, the main page the user sees is their character sheet, which is populated from a database.

they have access to message boards dependant upon what groups they belong to.

hard to say , you can assign levels for users perhaps?
