View Full Version : Using mod rewrite with DW

NOTE: This is a DW question

I am trying to use mod rewrite to accomplish a rewrite that results in the first directory being passed to index.php as page=dir1 and if there is a second directory, it is passed to index.php as page=dir1&item=dir2.

My .htaccess file looks like this:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
#Excluse certain files
RewriteRule ^(sitemap.txt|sitemap.xml|sitemap.xml.php|robots.t xt)$ - [L]
#Exclude certain directories
RewriteRule ^(assets|Connections|css|docs|images|inc|include|m enus|modules|module s_shared|js)($|/) - [L]
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/([^/]*)($|/) index.php?webpage=$1&item=$2 [L,QSA,NC]
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/?$ index.php?webpage=$1 [QSA,NC,L]
The problem is that unless the line in red is commented out, DW cannot access the database connection. I see the connection in the GUI, but it comes up "****No Tables Found

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
