View Full Version : Quick way to disable some rollovers?

Hi folks,

I'd like to upload a partially complete web page for my client to consider.

Not all of the links are complete yet, so I'd like to stop the rollover.

I could just go in and delete the rollover image for each non-active link but then I'd have to go back later into the laborious task of re-doing them.

Is there a quick way of selecting links and de-activating rollovers?

MX 2004, by the way.

If you used CSS, probably not a problem but, with that version of DW, I suspect you used the built-in swap image behavior and I don't think there's a quick way of hiding that.

Thanks for the reply.
I just went ahead and deleted the ones I didn't want at the moment.Didn't take all that long.

I'd still look at CSS based rollovers if I were you. Javascript ones are clunky and may not work if a visitor has it disabled.

Did you want to disable the rollover effect or the link?

I created the page in Photoshop and imported it (along with the red text for the rollover) into Dreanweaver. Then I used Design view to create the rollover effect.
Just disable (for the moment) the effect.
