I've seen others post issues similar to this, but have not yet seen a clear answer. It "appears" that you can only either center, left, or right align your webpage in dreamweaver. If I want to put an image to the left and then try to align another image to the right everything shifts to the same side. I'm sure the fix is easy, but if you respond please use terms that are locatable in dreamweaver. I'm still learning. Thanks for your help in advance.

That's down to what we call page flow. You can use the CSS 'float' property to overcome this and lay your page out by taking the floated elements out of the page flow. I'm afraid you may have just hit the limits of the 'drag and drop approach' to website design and you may need to read up on some layout theory before you go much further.

Remember that Dreamweaver is only a tool and requires peripheral knowledge to get the best out of it.

Do you know of any online tutorials that explain this?

You could give this a try; http://www.corrosiveonline.co.uk/tutorials_css_floats_for_layout.php written a while ago but might help with the concept.
