I have created a page with various items for sale and wonder
if it is possible to add a 'search' filter on the page, so that keywords
can be entered into a box and then the relevent items are shown.

No doubt this is more complicated than I imagine!

I am using CS3 by the way.

Hi Karen. I've never done this before but there seem to be some javascript options I was unaware of when we spoke the other day. Try this; http://www.hypergurl.com/searchpage.html and see how it goes!

thankyou T!

I copied the code as detailed in the link
http://www.hypergurl.com/searchpage.html

and the search box is in place, but nothing seems to happen when
you try to enter a search?

You can view my test page

any ideas what I am not doing right?

I have no idea what the problem might be, sorry :( I have only ever heard of searching content in databases before now. That script was just a bit of Googling so you could try something different.
