Is there a php code that can be inserted into the target so the powerpoint viewer comes up and plays automatically outside the browser window?

what do you mean outside the browser? google docs can play powepoint i believe so visitors would get a choice of viewing or downloading (afaik)

If I create a straight link the options are to save the file then open it in powerpoint viewer or the dialog box asks you to select a program to open it in the browser, which powerpoint viewer isnt one of them even though I have it on my computer. Id like the user to be able to click the link and have the PP viewer auto play. Instead of target="blank", is there something I can put into the href to make PPviewer the target?
