Hi All, my first post so hello all.

I want to add a search option to my website, I am no web guru so it has to be basic. I thought the easiest way would be by excel but let me tell you the scenario.

I have some products that change price each month, so for example let say I have flights from New York, Boston, Chicago and San Fran. I have tickets that are Business Class, First and Economy and these flights fly to Europe some to all destinations some not.

Can I make a drop down list search and point them to a particular box in Excel, for example NY to London first class = A1, Boston to Paris Business = C6. The figure in the box is then displayed.

If there is an easier way please tell me. Thank you for all help.

I think you'd better off looking at a database (MySQL) and some PHP.

I am no web guru so it has to be basic.

The problem is what you want to do is not basic. You've either got a commit to learning new skills which will take time or you need to consider hiring someone with the expertise to do what you want.

tabular data as XML or in an HTML table can be placed on a page as a Spry Dataset which is sortable
