I am new to Dreamweaver and am having problems linking pages. When I drag the pointer to the page it shows up but then disappears. On my web site the pages will open in order but will not reopen when going back to them. What could I be doing wrong?

You're going to have to go through what you're doing very carefully step by step and describe it (or better yet post a link to your site) if you want us to be able to help.

www.bellelynn.com When I link each of my pages inventory, about etc. I drag the symbol to the link, it appears in the box and then disappears. When navigating through the pages on the site if you go straight down through them they work but if you go from the last link on the page to one above it they do not. I built this site in my classroom at the local college, today is the first time I have tried to do this. I have gone back through my book. I believe I am doing it correctly but I could be missing something.

On your server, links are case sensitive. Some of your links don't match the pages (contact.html and Contact.html for instance). You need to go back and make sure they match up. When you set up your site, there is a box that you can check to enable case sensitive link checking.

Thank you so much, I knew it had to be something I had done differently than in class.

btw i i might make a couple of suggestions - if you use comic sans then no one will take your design site seriously :) unless you're making a comic then stick with verdana or georgia, for example. Oh and incidentally it's typographically frowned upon to put 2 spaces after a period, unless you're using a typewriter ;)

edit: how long did it take to crochet that white dress?

Linking pages is fairly easy. Can you explain your problem more in detail?
