I have several link to .pdfs in my sites. I would like to have them return to the site when closed but cannot find information on how to do this. I am not an HTML person. I am using Dreamweaver CS4. Is there anything I can add or should I just add a hyperlink on the .pdf to return to the previous page?

Depending upon the browser and the plugins installed a pdf will either open in the browser OR be downloaded to the users hard drive so it's not as straightforward as you're thinking.

You might want to add the attribute target="_blank" to your link. that will open up a new window with the pdf (if your browser supports pdf file) or open a new blank window and then prompt to save the pdf to your harddrive.

That way when the new window is closed the original page is still available.

It's also probably a good idea to include a link to the site in the pdf for people who will be viewing the pdf later or offline.
