I'm using DreamWeaver 8, and I need to add a Javascript to the header of all my HTML files. (300+) ... Can Dreamweaver accomplish this for me? Or are there any other text editors that can?

Thanks

Yes, thanks for replying, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any other way.

You could use the </head> tag

On a side note.

You really shouldn't have 300 pages that are just static HTML. Either use php includes or a cms if you have this amount of content. Just becomes unmanageable otherwise.

That's a really good point.

Yes, but it is a website I just took over, very unorganized I agree. But I'm doing some clean up to it, it contains over 2400 files (most are images and 800 something are HTML).

I need to find ways to better manage the site than just using Dreamweaver or Notepad++ ... Can Joomla do this without ruining the .css or layout ?

I need to correct many mistakes without going through every file..

yes as will most cms but you will need to make templatesa and remake the site

cant see how that is possible if it is a large static site, only using changes to the css file
