Hi All, im new to this forum and was wondering if anyone was able to help me!!

I came across this site, and it has a photo gallery and I really like how they have done it.

Are there any tutorials for this at all? Im pretty new to web design and do not know anything about HTML or CSS, so im not sure if i would have to know that do do something like this.

Here is the link, any help would be appreciated!!

CS5 has support for jQuery I believe... http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/css/fresh-jquery-image-gallery-display-solutions/

jQuery is a javascript framework. You can use javascript in isolation in a page but jQuery is a basic framework of the language that people develop 'plug-ins' for making cool stuff like photo galleries and all kinds of other things. jQuery is the mutt's nuts :)

Javascript, not so much as the galleries are 'plug 'n' play' for the most part. Some knowledge of how to install it would be good but most of those sites have instructions, just follow them carefully.

As for HTML you are gonna need that to build a website so, yup

Ha, ha. You will get there I promise. Might take a while though but there's lots of helpful folks here to help out. Try this resource for starters; http://www.w3schools.com/

Thanks corrosive, it will take a lot of time!! Im putting a site together justnow and really using stuff like the tables etc to organise the layout etc, but i do want to learn HTML, and I understand CSS is very important too!! All one big learning curve ;-)

really using stuff like the tables etc to organise the layout

The sooner you get your head around "divs" the better and ditch tables for overall layout.

Once I got my head around this jquery galley display, it was fine but I may have struggled if I was just starting out with website design.
