Hey,

I am trying to get something on my website just as on overstock.com. I am talking about the part in the middle on the homepage that slides over between 4 different subjects. I have tried to view the source to figure it out but I cant. Does anyone know a good tutorial or can anyone code a sample of something like this for me?

Thanks!

You could use jQuery for this. Here's a tutorial that's similar to what you want.

Thanks that looks good for a beginning website like mine! I haven't gotten it to work yet. Do you know what I have to edit in the CSS to make it smaller?

Change the widths in the CSS. This is the slideshow container for instance width a width of 755px.

div#tmpSlideshow {
margin: 10px;
padding: 30px 0 0 0;
position: relative;
height: 335px;
width: 755px;
border: 1px solid rgb(200, 200, 200);
}

If you make this wider or smaller then you'll have to adjust other widths too further in the CSS.
