I have created a website for a friend and now he keeps wanting to edit text and images. Is there some way to allow him to do this? I'm already fed up of copying and pasting it on the site for him, and I don't don't just wanna say no and he doesn't know anything about coding.

Of course he wants to change the content. No website should be static 8)

Why is this your problem by the way? Can't you just tell him that you don't have time to update his website?

You need to look at using a CMS. WordPress would be a good place to start. Or just use a plugin style CMS such as Cushy CMS or Perch.

There's much much more to web development. What have you wrapped your head around so far?

So far.....HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver. I'm now starting to consider MYSQL and PHP. (oh im no expert in the first three, but i'm confident)

Here's some other keywords you can Google. No need to go there yet, but things to keep in mind for the future. Accessibility, Usability, Information Architecture, Wireframes, UX, SEO and Typography.

Responsive web design, CSS3 and HTML5 and why not learn some Javascript while you're at it.

Don't worry Tony we're all still learning that's the beauty of web design / dev. Well that one of the reasons I love it, the more you learn the more you realise how much more you can learn.
