I'm fairly new to Dreamweaver and have what I think is a simple question.

What is the best way to change the name of a site? I simply want to rename it without disrupting links etc.

I've learned from experience that the links are very sensitive to any file change or movement.

I'm working in DW CS5.

Thanks,
Laura

How do you mean 'rename' it? Bit confused to be honest.

Thanks for your reply. Basically I just want to change the name of the site.

If I'm in DW, looking at the "files" window, I see my site folder with the name I originally gave it. Now I'd like to change the name of the site.

Thanks,
Laura

Oh right, OK. Change your folder name to suit and then just change the name in the site definitions. You can follow this tutorial for a guide; http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/define-your-site.php. and make sure you update both the default site folder and images folder in the site definitions as well.

I think you should be good to go then.
