I have a new project that I am working on but not sure where to start. I was hoping you guys would have some advice for me.

Basically I am just putting together a web page that will be viewed on a monitor displayed in a window at a local real estate business.

On the left half of the page I would like to have this
but I would like for the page to autoscroll and then restart once it hits the bottom.

On the right half I am just going to put a sideshow that will flip between different local company logo's.

What type of scripting should I use to accomplish this?
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

I'd imagine there must be something in the JQuery toolbox that will do what you need. No idea what or where though!

I was thinking the same thing... just having problems finding it so far...
As far as inserting that linked page into my website so that I could control it.... How would I go about that? Also, I would like to insert it on the left side only and be able to control the size.

If there's no interaction, why even use a web pages?
Flash and Java are two things that come to mind.

There will be interaction between the agent listings portal...
thats the link I posted. The whole purpose of this is so she will not have to make any changes...
So that when new homes are added to the MLS (mutiple listing service)
it will automatically update on the website... and in turn automatically update on the outside monitor.
She might have to refresh it every day or i could make it auto refresh after so long I guess...

If the properties are already in a database..
I just don't see how a webpage is the right choice in making a window display.

the properties are not in a database that my client has direct access to...
all she has is this link

You could use something like a news scroller - I think this one looks quite nice.

You can hover and stop the feed too if required - no interaction is required though.
