hello everyone

i have the last question to submit before midnite and here it goes:

No, the div id should always be in the girl tag.

Man... if they ask questions like that on web design school, I would probably never got so far where I'm now... I think I would even quit web design school :)

thats exactly how i feel... but i have no choice this time.... i dropped out once and i regretted it, now it seems harder but not impossible, it will take me some time...

Well, the answer is NO and NO! If you don't hook a style to that div then there is no need for an ID... I guess that's what she mean... BUT... if you want to hook a style to that div you also don't need an ID.

Let's say if that div is the 3rd div in the document hierarchy you can also hook styles on it like this:

body + div + div + div {styles here}
It's rarely used like this but it is possible ;)

man... that question bothers me... I understood it wrong... I think (I re-read it 10 times or so, but I'm Dutch.. so).
Anyways... she asks that if you give a div an ID is it enough without hooking styles to that div... what a stupid question.... I call it a day :confused:
