Hi All,
I would like to be able to view and edit a wordpress theme in design view, I tried installing WAMP on my laptop but with it being a 64 bit system it didnt seem to work, can anyone give any advice on the best way to use a wordpress theme in dreamweaver cs3 and how it can be viewed (or even if it can) ?, are there any alternatives to WAMP etc ?

Thanks,
Nick C

There is a 'view live data' option (also in CS3) for dynamic content.
Read on!

Hi,
Thanks for reply, I have clicked on what the link says to enable Live Data

Open the Live Data Settings dialog box (View > Live Data Settings).

But the option is not there, can anyone advise ?

Cheers, Nick C

Hi Thanks for reply,
I have now found where the live data is, I am assuming I set up an empty folder on my server and then configure the Wordpress site to that folder and it sends the pages to it and back and then deletes them !, is this correct ? Cheers,
Nick C

P.S. I'm not sure but I think CS5 can show Wordpress in Design View without any configuration, I am only using CS3, anyone got a spare CS5 copy !!!!!!!

CS5 integration with php-based sites is pretty nice but requires that you have a server running either locally (best) or remotely.
