I'm adding a search box to my website through hostgator. I have the html, but hostgator provides no CSS. Can someone please help me with the CSS for this html?

<div id="search">
<form action="/cgi-sys/entropysearch.cgi" target=searchwindow>
<input type="text" name="query" value="">
<input type="hidden" name="user" value="jewelry">
<input type="hidden" name="basehref" value="http://ttjewelry.net">
<input type="submit" value="Search">
</form>
</div>

I need code for positioning and size of box too. I would also like to use my own image for the search box. What code would I change to do this?

All help is appreciated.

Something like this will line up the search field and search button next to each other with some image styles.

#search input[type="text"] {
float: left;
display:block;
width: 240px;
height: 26px;
padding: 3px 10px 6px 10px;
border:1px solid #ccc;
margin-right: 15px;
background: url(fld_search.gif);
}

#search input[type="submit"] {
float: left;
width: 90px;
height: 35px;
background: url(btn_search.gif);
cursor:pointer;
text-indent: -9999px;
border: none;
}

Hi, with the latest version, does that script still works? https://imagicon.info/cat/6-4/1.gif
