Has anyone here used any of the various techniques for adding nonstandard fonts to a web page? SIFR, Google Fonts, Typekit. etc.

What's your experience? Any preferences?

ive used google fonts without any incident. i did have an interesting effect with a slow internet connection in that it will select the main body choice ( i f used for H1 tags for example) which causes a blink effect when it changes , which is no a bad thing in my opinion for drawing attention to a header , however on a normal connection this does not happen.

There is a something for that called WebFont Loader.

And here's an article on 24Ways that explains a bit more about it.
