View Full Version : CSS Rule Definition "Advanced"

I'm using DW CS5 on a 30 day trial and I'm confused when making a "New CSS rule definition". I am following a tutorial that relates to an "Advanced" option when creating a new rule but I can't see it.

In the "New CSS rule definition" box I see four options and advanced isn't one of them.

Here's an example of what I'm trying to follow:

1.Select New css rule in the CSS Styles window.
2.The Selector Type is "Advanced" and in the Selector window type #container and make sure that (This document only is selected), click OK.

I noted that this user was using DW CS3 and I'm sure that DW has changed since then, but what option should I use when I'm asked to use the "Advanced" option?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the option of ID there?

yes there are four options and one of them applies to : ID (applies to only one HTML element)
