View Full Version : Some rollover buttons don't work

I have 9 rollover buttons that I set up all the same way, however 2 of the buttons don't switch out to the darker rollover button when rolled over. But all buttons, when clicked, go to the correct links. I have checked the jpeg files and the html, but I don't see where the problems could be.

The "Dr's Bio" and "Fred's Story" buttons are the two buttons that I can't get the rollover image to work on.

PLUS when previewed in the browsers (Safari, Firefox & IE) the buttons all seem to shift down even though in Dreamweaver they are all aligned to the top and left. I have attached a screen capture that shows the shift in the buttons. The DW file (left) next to the Safari preview (right).

What am I missing? Thanks so much for any advice! :)

Got a link at all? My only suggestion right now is that you haven't uploaded the images but that is a guess!

Thanks for the response. I don't have an active link yet. I am currently just working on it from my mac. All the jpeg files are correct and linked as far as I can tell. Still not sure why only 2 of the 9 buttons are not working when they were all set up the same way or what is causing the shift.

No, I can't see what is causing the rollover fail. As for the other bit you'd have a lot more control over your site layout if you used CSS rather than tables; http://webdesign.about.com/od/layout/a/aa111102a.htm Personally not that keen on debugging nested tables at all.
