Hello all... I was hoping to get a little help or a push in the right direction with a problem I'm having. Basically I'm working on my first site in Dreamweaver CS4 and I'm wanting to create a photo gallery of sorts. I know what I want but I don't know how to achieve it. Like I said, this is my first site in Dreamweaver and, though I know some coding, i'm by no means an expert.

Anywho here is a link to a gallery from another site that I'm referencing: http://www.engadget.com/photos/infinitec-ium-hands-on/#3602990

Basically I want a gallery where I can click on a thumbnail and the larger image shows up on the same page above the thumbnails. Pretty much just like the link (I'm going to spruce it up a bit of course :D).

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not actually that keen on showing all those thumbnails.

This is one of the best slide shows I've seen.

I liked the thumbnails but you might have sold me on that slider!

Like I said in my original post, I'm no expert on html and such but is this something I can program and throw into dreamweaver where I want? I've never messed with jQuery stuff before.

Follow the instructions on the site and dive into code view. Just take it step-by-step and don't fear code. Design view is OK for getting to grips with stuff but you'll need code sooner or later :)

Thanks to everyone who helped... I tried the jQuery slideshow but I'm just not that familiar with html so I had to ditch that option... For now:) ... Although I did figure out how to do it the way I originally wanted thanks to a great youtube video using behaviors.
