Hi guys

You folks who do screen capture videos for tutorials, what software do you use? I am looking for a (legally) free option for some basic screencasting.

Any thoughts?

Funnily enough started having a play with that after I posted. It's pretty good for free.

I looked into camstudio quite a while ago when I was looking at having a standard app for people to use for video tutorials, and it worked great for the purpose.

I wouldn't rule out a commercial piece of software though. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Yeah, I know what you are saying mate but it is literally one video. You know I usually prefer the written word! I want to do a brief refresher for clients who have their sites based on Modx on how to create, update, edit etc. Camstudio looks ideal for that.

I guess I could have surfed the web for one that exists already but I want it all Yoto branded to look nice and pro. 8-)
