And I'mm running with This One (http://www.merseyme.co.uk/halobums/) instead

I'm still having problems with getting the columns to line up evenly and that though

Any suggestions/fixes?

As you can see the left nav comes down about 2 thirds, and the main content leaves a gap at the bottom, how do i fix this, was it with the faux columns or was it something else?

You have 10px bottom padding on the content box.

If you are struggling why dont you just go to a two column design, break your navigation/menu down on the left as I think some of the links are irrelevant and you could combine some of the navigation like

mobile disco hire and mobile disco pricing and have a anchoured link to

Mobile Disco's
Then on this page write up on mobile discos with links to these pages from there to

www.thissite.co.uk/mobile-disco-liverpool/mobile-disco-pricing.htm (http://www.thissite.co.uk/mobile-disco-liverpool/mobile-disco-pricing.htm)
www.thissite.co.uk/mobile-disco-liverpool/mobile-disco-hire.htm (http://www.thissite.co.uk/mobile-disco-liverpool/mobile-disco-hire.htm)

And then use the space under your nav for your images etc.

You are going to struggle with 3 columns if your new to all this, I would always fix the size of the three columns and work your content out accordingly to fit.

Thanks for the advice Urban, much appreciated

One of the things i want to learn though is how to get the boxes to contract and expand, rather than writing the content to fit in the boxes, i can already do that you see?

I'm trying to learn another way of doing it, once i've learnt how to do that, i'll move onto something else then?

it's driving me nuts at the minute though i must admit.
