I have some pages where there are cell borders or gaps or spacing I can't remove
Using borders=0 doesn't do it

Yet some of my pages I managed to get the tables to display without borders
These two pages are how I want to do all tables.

This page is an example of the borders I can't remove

What is causing this?

Don't use tables for layout, use divs.

I used divs and they wouldn't stay in place.
I tried fixed and absolute and they were moved around in different browsers.

Relative shouldn't. Absolute can do if not handled with care. You just need to understand how they work.

Try adding;

table {border: none;} to your stylsheet.

So I can remove the borders better using CSS? I'm wondering why a few pages don't have them where I don't use CSS.

The code for the borders may well be inline styles (actually part of the tag). This is also really bad practice.

I'll check for span tags...........thx
