Hi, can anyone help me add a you tube video link on my web page?

I don't just want to provide a hyperlink or an image which when clicked on opens the you tube page.

Rather I would like to actually have the youtube video player visable on the page and playable directly from my web page.

also i would like to do the same with sound cloud to, so the sound cloud player is playable from my web page

examples http://www.djdaveseaman.com/ has sound cloud player on it

http://www.myspace.com/dannyhowells has you tube video

You just paste the embed code that Youtube provides into your HTML. It couldn't be much easier.

does it have to be pasted in any particular place?

Wherever you want it. Go to the vid you want in YT, click on 'embed' and it gives you the code you need (you even get some colour options but they are all a bit naff in my opinion). Copy, paste in your website code where you want the vid and it will appear.

Don't know about sound cloud as have bever used it but I imagine it has the same.

Hence my surprise!

Couldn't say, never used it but I'd imagine that, if it is that kind of site, then yes.

Oh yes, so it does. That's quite a cool site. Might have to have a play with that later.
