I'm working on a Web site for a baseball organization. Its owner wants a video on the site, it is a 19.5 MB Quicktime movie. On my computer (PowerMac G5) it loads relatively quickly, but on my son's PC laptop and on the owner's PC computer, it takes forever (several minutes) to load.
Is there some way I can speed the loading up? Convert the file? Change a setting?
The vide in question is at: http://nwstar.net/Academy/IBelieve/iBelieveVideo.html

It's better to convert it to .flv (flash video) and put it in a free .flv player. Not everybody have quicktime installed on their computers, but with a flashplayer you have more chance that people can view the vid. To convert from .mov to .flv you can use this. I didn't try it myself, but its free so perhaps it's something for you.

For a .flv player to embed in your code you can use flowplayer, but if you google you'll find more freebies.

A low cost solution, that might be the best solution is to create a vimeo or youtube account.

Upload your video and then grab the embed codes to paste into your website.
