Hi, My third post to the forums. Am finding the feedback useful thanks!
So if I create say a wrapper for all content, then tags for logo, banner, navbar, and whatever else - is that the best to do it. Or do I set up a container for whole interface, then a wrapper/separate container for header then separate one for body, then separate one for footer? Is that like nesting them too much. Does that last approach give me any issues or does it make it easier for me to manipluate Divs?

Thanks

make a wrapper for your whole content, that makes it containesed and easier to size or centre etc. then define youy elements , for example
#header[width:950px:height:90px;}
#content{.....
you could then within your content have divs floated to provide columns such as side nave bar and main content etc

#footer{.......

Since this is the Dreamweaver General section, I assume you have Dreamweaver. If it's CS3 or newer, create a page from one of the built-in CSS-based page layouts (maybe 3-column fixed with header and footer) and then read the comments in the CSS file. It's a good way to start.
