View Full Version : Template Editable Region Problem

Hi, Iím new to Dreamweaver (as everyone who posts questions seems to be) and Iím working on my second site.
Iím having an issue with my templates. I have been using CSS and when i set my editable regions in the template, it all works well
Then when I open up a child of the template, i can edit the code easily, but I canít click on anything in design view. It just gives me a large black circle with a line through it.
I think itís the container that is the problem, since I have been experimenting and everything remains unchanged until I remove the container (can the whole site in it).
It seems like the container is in front of all the code inside of it, but Iím not sure how to send it back. The only way I can get it to work is to make the container editable, but that defeats the propose of editable regions since the whole page can be edited.
It is a reasonably basic site, but I am not sure where I have went wrong
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thank you!

Do you have Dreamweaver CS5? Can you post the page somewhere and give us a link?
