I've just added a scrolling line to a web page, which works fine in IE, but when I view it in Firefox, I get a scrolling dot at the end of the line. The page in question is http://www.aidensfieldstores.co.uk/Pages/CDs.html

The relevant bit of code is:

<th height="209" align="left" valign="top" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" scope="col"><p><span class="style15">CD</span>: &quot;THE ALBUM &quot; TRICIA PENROSE <span class="style31">&pound;10.99</span><br />
<span class="style44">14 tracks including:</span><em></br>
</em><br />
<marquee><span class="style52"><span class="style31"><em>Each CD is personally signed by Tricia</em>, <em>and &pound;1 goes to Comic Relief</em></span></span></marquee>
</p>
<p class="style11">Son of a Preacher Man - Band of Gold - If I Ain't Got You - Rescue Me - Where Did Our Love Go - If I Can't Have You - To Sir With Love - Road Rage - Save The Best for Last - Higher and Higher - Don't Know Why - I'll Never Fall in Love AGAIN - Out of Reach - What's Love Got To Do With It </p></th>
</tr>
<tr>
<th align="left" valign="top" scope="col"><img src="../Images/CD-Memories-front.jpg" alt="Heartbeat &quot;Memories&quot; CD" width="300" height="296" /></th>
<th height="209" align="left" valign="top" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" scope="col"><p><span class="style15">HEARTBEAT CD</span>: &quot;MEMORIES&quot; <span class="style31">&pound;7.50</span><br />
<span class="style44">25 tracks including:</span><em></br>
</em><br />
<marquee><span class="style52"><span class="style31"><em>this CD is exclusive to Aidensfield Stores</em></span></span></marquee>
</p>
<p>Bobby Vee - <span class="style11">Heartbeat</span>, Adam Faith - <span class="style11">What do you want?</span>, Gerry &amp; the Pace

Can't replicate in Firefox. Which line are you referring to?

Although not famed for my patience I did wait (promise) and can't get a dot. I am on 3.5 though so it could be a 3.6 thing. I have found FF 3.6 a bit buggy so far but I guess when you use a deprecated tag like marquee it may be asking for glitches :)

As I said Keith you are using a deprecated tag in 'marquee'. This means that it has been dropped and may not be universally supported going forwards. I know this seems like a long way round for something you can do with a tag but this is a sweet JQuery marquee effect; http://www.seangw.com/wordpress/index.php/2009/01/basic-ajax-tutorial-smooth-scrolling-text-marquee-with-a-jquery-plugin/ and it will be supported.
