... images from jumping into the next row below when the window is resized (wrapping?) I want one long row of images. I have tried putting a one pixel image 6000 pixels wide jpeg at the top of the page. That gave me scroll bars but still images drop down. The images are all 250 pixels high. I could join them all up (48 of them) but would rathher keep them separate.

What do you think?

Place them in a div that is wide enough for all your images and give the div a specific height (250px) using CSS. That ought to work.

That ought to work.

...and work it did, neat solution, many thanks for your time and insight.

Blue works for me

So now I want to have a title that centers in the window as I scroll along the page. The window is 11400 pixels wide. Any thoughts?

This is all theoretical btw... You could put it in a div with auto margins and a width defined to centre it. Then add position:fixed; to the CSS styles and see what you get.

As I said, I have no idea if that will work!

Duck egg blue

I imagine if you locked a smurf away from sunlight for a few weeks (preferably Brainy Smurf... know-it-all) then it would turn this shade of blue. I'm going to call it anaemic smurf blue ;)
