Hello,

I have never built anything in Flash, I'm a print graphic designer who is just learning Dreamweaver.

Someone sent me this link for their ad to be placed on our site:
http://images.ibsys.com/prod/pho/ads/airbyjay_0610/airbyjay_300x250.html

The only way this works is to use their old static ad and link to it. I cannot get that link to just display on our site index page, as a moving flash ad that it is.

I know something is missing, but since I'm new not sure what it is.

Thank you for your time.

Looks like you have everything you need code wise in that link you have posted. Just copy and paste and change the file paths to find the flash movie. As Ed rightly says though DW will do this for you.

Thanks for the responses. I'm still unsure of how to make the ad work.

Open the source code, paste it into the body of my html page? I don't know where the movie is to point anything to...

Thanks!

it is using a javascript AC_content, you will need this . then paste the links to it , pase the java script in the head then paste the ca;ll to the script where you want the movie to appear.
it this is confusing let dw insert it for you, it will then provide all the scripts you want
