Ok... i have a Weather Widget in the site a made for my client, i want that widget able to be downloaded by viewers so they could put it on their desktop. I have the java-script that the weather company send and thats the widget, but i really want to people to be able to download it as a widget for them to have in their desktop.

this is the widget script:
<script language="javascript" src="http://wp.myweather.net/wxdata/sticker.asp?pub=s253 (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/view-source:http://wp.myweather.net/wxdata/sticker.asp?pub=s253)"></script>

www.adamonzon.net (you will see the widget at the right side below the header, its blue with the weather of Puerto Rico).

Unless you convert it to an Adobe Air app (http://www.adobe.com/products/air/) no body will be able to run your widget as a desktop app.

Now if you want to package it up so they can download it and put it on their own web site, zip it up and put the zip file on your server.

Check the license agreement Chapo. Is it yours to give away for download? The weather company may let you use it on your site but may also say you can't give it away.

Just a word of caution :)

Sure, the client pays for that services, the company even made that Widget for us and gave me the code for people to add to their sites. The problem is that people has to know about html to do that, i want people to click and download already functional.
