Guys, this is probably so stupid, apologies but doing my nut in.
When I browse to my site (pretty new to this) it gives me the index of the site. Lists all the files and folders.
Not sure what I have done, am using Dreamweaver.

The site is fine, all other pages load fine, apart from home page.
Is it something to do with the .cwk file,

Again apologies but would appreciate any help
Thank you

the home or default page is index.html, index.htm, index.php etc, if not present it is possible to see the contents although most live servers block this.
add a file as index or through your site control panel you can usually specify the 'home ' page

Thank you for your reply, I am using Dreamweaver and tried to set homepage by simply right clicking on the page I wanted and selecting homepage. But still the same, no change.

You are talking about an index page, what content do I put in here.

it is the first page of your site that visitors see, so description , links to your other pages whatever information you want people to see first basically

You need to change the file name of your homepage to index.html. You'r server will automatically recognize that as your main page and load it when people type in only the domain name. Of course you'll also need to update the links to that page to take into account the new file name.
