View Full Version : IE causes images to shift. HELP!

Hi there,
I've been researching this for a solid day and a half now and can't find any information that helps, even on adobe. I've found info on 'expanding boxes' etc, but am not convinced this is the problem there as actions I've taken have stopped this error appearing in the browser compatibility box appearing. I've included screen shots to explain what is going wrong.

I created the slices in photoshop, as layer slices where possible. The white lines appearing in the top grey box are where the slice edges are... anything to do with it? But lower down the page notice how the grey subheadings get cut off..... css problem?

If i zoom to a particular level on IE then these problems dissapear/arise in different places.

Realise that most people in the world are still using IE so really desperate to get this fixed quickly! Any help really appreciated.

Fundamentaly it is your approach that is wrong. Hand slice and then rebuild in HTML and CSS using relative positioning. At the moment Photoshop is 'building' your page for you...badly. As Ed says we'd need to see a link to tell you exactly where Photoshop has made a mess ;)
