Hi Everyone,

Please let me introduce myself ... I am Victor Soares and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am an engineer by trade and enjoy photography and graphics in my spare time.

I have decided that I would like to create a website to exhibit some of my work. Speaking to a few people, it was suggested that I could use Dreamweaver for this, but I really have no clue on how to go about it - but I will learn.

My idea for the website is as follows:
Main page with about me, contacts, title, etc and then 4 main links to other parts of the website:
(a) A portfolio page for my photography (thinking of using a Flash Photo Gallery for this)
(b) A portfolio page for my graphics (simple)
(c) A link to a blog - future development
(d) An e-commerce site for some of my products - future development

I wanted to ask for a little bit of help initially:
- Should I use a dreamweaver template?
- What "language" should I use?
- Is it possible to integrate templates (looking at buying a Flash Photo Gallery Template) with dreamweaver?
- Can you give me some links to tutorials to get me on my way.

Thanks very much and I am looking forward to learning and interacting with everyone, very much.

I would look at a CMS like Drupal to deliver this project. Its very well suited to your requirements
