View Full Version : CSS menu question

Hello again everyone,

I just have a quick question about a menu/pic gallery (not even sure what to call it?) I am trying to make. I have Googled up and down for a tutorial but I am sure I am calling it the wrong thing so I have had no luck.

What I am trying to do is similar enough to the menu/pic thingy on this website (http://www.jimrome.com) just below the horizontal navbar. I know I can do it in Flash but I really want to do whatever I can in CSS due to accessibility, load time, etc. Is the example just CSS or is there a Java element I am missing?

Can anyone suggest a good tutorial for creating this sort of thing in CSS? The example is perfect, multiple vertical menu items on a timed cycle with an adjacent graphic element and rollovers. I just wish I could explain it better lol.

On a quest to learn! Anyone that can help me out is a true legend and will gain lots of positive karma :)

Yeah, I introduced that script to the agency I'm working for, and we're looking at replacing all our slideshows with that one. Pretty nifty transitions, eh?
