Hi there,

My name's James Law from http://buildor.com, a software house based in London.

We are creating a product called BuildorPro (http://bit.ly/bsy1Z2) which is best described as Dreamweaver in the cloud.

The idea is *not* to create a direct port of Dreamweaver - our vision is of a browser based tool for building and editing HTML/CSS with all the benefits of distributed, cloud hosted software that makes laying out new designs and editing existing ones an incredibly fast process.

There's a video showing a page being built here: http://vimeo.com/9852176 (5:29 - no sound and featuring a development interface).

We take a Photoshop design with it's individual parts and build the page from scratch. The video features a development interface but you can see a preview of the live version at the beginning.

We are looking for Dreamweaver users (and indeed, non-dreamweaver users) to sign up for our beta testing program.

If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you and I'll send more detail via email (we absolutely promise not to spam you).

Email me on james [at] buildor [dot] com and we'll add you to the group.

Many thanks!

James @ Buildor

PS We have another product, http://buildorlite.com which might be of interest. It's perfect for editing static sites that don't have any kind of CMS backend.

Hmm.. I'll check it out. If your vision flies off into the distance... prepare to be bought out by some VC in Silicon Valley!

I got some bandwidth problems when I was viewing the video and got to see some parts of it. It seems very intuitive though!
