Trying to use the space bar to space out words to make buttons. The top image is the original Photoshop buttons. The bottom are the buttons I want spaced out inside Dreamweaver. Can anyone help? Buttons are a CSS DIV BTW.

Since the words are links, you can use CSS to style them. Assuming they are in a div called menu:

#menu a {
display block;
float: left;
padding-left: 20px;
padding-right: 20px;
}

(you'll also need an element styled with the property clear: left after the last link)

Of course CSS offers a lot of other possibilities as well and a lot of people prefer using unordered lists to create their menus.

Thank you. I was thinking about just taking the buttons from my photoshop template and bringing those into dreamweaver as image buttons. Is that a good idea?

Also one more thing. Do you have any idea on how to create a scroll frame like this in Dreamweaver?

Could copy the source file and get this scroll frame and manipulate it for my gallery?

I's not the best way to make links but, if you do it, just save the button images with the spacing built in.

Thanks. Have any answers on my second question?

That example uses JQuery 'jcarousel'; http://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/ Looks pretty easy to use.

probably gonna get shot down now but you can space extra distances by pressing and holding shift+ctrl while tapping the space bar

BANG! :)

spacing inside an element = padding
spacing outside an element = margin

The problem with this is that you create non-breaking spaces. You cannot remove them by CSS, and now you're stuck in a pre CSS solution unless you change it back using a regular approach.

Man I am so new to Jquery. Should I just install a basic CSS Style thumbnail gallery system until I read up more on this JQuery?
